Taking you back to all five sensory roots, Boom 2008 is pushing the boundaries of music. In the age of the Internet, music is being increasingly faced as nothing but data, simple files in HD. The common speech about music has moved from the passion and emotion about it to the amount of gigabytes or downloads one have.
We want the passion for music back instead of the quantitative ethos! Inspired by the will of cross-pollinating sounds in order to build a non-functionalistic culture regarding music, there is four music areas functioning with some of the most original artists worldwide.
World music, ambient, psy-trance, dubstep, IDM, progressive, minimal, deep house, glitch, reggae, dub, fusion, there’s a whole new world of genres showcased at Boom 2008. Music made by those who are passionate, with fresh ideas, encouraging new paths for music.
